After his enormous success in his dance flick Step Up, Channing Tatum is back for Oliver Stone's Pinkville along with Bruce Willis and rapper turned actor Xzibit. The movie is about the gruesome 500 people massacre happened in Vietnam in 1968. The said tragedy was in account to the US soldiers and its in the hands of General Peers who is the one in charge of the investigation. Channing on the other hand will play heroic pilot Hugh Thompson who dared to stop the said killing.
He got his first-hand success in Ricky Martin's video She Bangs as he is casted as one of the dancers. Since then, he was flooded by ad campaigns preferably Abercombie & Fitch, Nautica, Dolce & Gabbana, American Eagle Outfitters and Emporio Armani. He got his first feature film via the Coach Carter along with Samuel L. Jackson. This sexy actor is engaged in small roles after this until casted in the film She's the Man. Now comes Step Up, his most successful film up to this date where he was joined by real life girlfriend Jenna Dewan.

Apart from this, he will also star in a war film entitled Stop Loss opposite Ryan Philippe and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and as a street fighter in the movie Fighting. We can see more of him in 2009 via the Stanford Prison Experiment and Parkour all set for 2009 and an untitled film under Fox Atomic film outfit in which will be set in South Korea.
