You knew him as Troy Bolton in the hit Disney Channel movie franchise High School Musical. As Link Larkin in the recent film Hairspray. Zac Efron is a certified hot men in every sense of the word as he included in AOL's 25 Under 25: Hollywood's Hottest Young Stars. He proved that in his recent tour in Japan where he attended the premiere of his latest movie Hairspray. He was well reciprocated by fans and spectators alike.
Zac's reel and real life loveteam Vanessa Hudgens still goes strong despite of the latter's nude pics and suspected sex video. It all started in High School Musical where Vanessa portrayed Gabriella. He also appeared in the music video of her girlfriend's hit single Say Ok as a term of support for her album. As days pass, he is emerging a single profile among this hit teen movie. It is also reported that he will reprise Kevin Bacon's role in the remake of Footloose. If plans will go smoothly, we will see Zac as bad as he can be.
But before his massive popularity, he appears in television in a guest role such as Firefly, ER and The Guardian. He landed a role in WB's Summerland along with Jesse McCartney. Not only that, the third installment of High School Musical 3 is said to be pushing through as they will start filming January next year. For sure fans of these successful musical flick will definitely watch out for this one.
In 2006, he won twice in that year's Teen Choice Awards for Choice Breakout Star and Choice Chemistry all for the movie HSM. He is also a recipient of this year's Hollywood Film Award's Ensemble for the movie Hairspray. He is set to film Adam Shankman's Seventeen which tells an adult transformed into a 17 year-old teen. As what Rolling Stone Magazine said, he is another American Heartthrob on the rise.
