Jake Gyllenhaal is Doing his own Rendition

He can't sing a tune but that is for his upcoming movie Rendition that stars Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep. He and Reese get along well while filming and turns into a secret relationship. Reports said that they separate but recently they saw together in special functions. Despite Reese's divorce to ex-hubby Ryan Philippe, that didn't stop their blooming romance.

Since his applauded performance in October Sky, Jake returns with a bang via his critically acclaimed gay movie Brokeback Mountain. He starred along with Heath Ledger that depicts the life of two men in an unexpected homosexual relationship. That earned him a nod in BAFTA Awards Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and a nomination in Academy Awards. It also opened doors to international recognition and tagged as one of the hot men in Hollywood.

Acting is in his genes as he came from a movie-oriented family. His infamous father is a film director while his mother is a film producer and screenwriter. His sister Maggie is also an actress in such a way his co-star in Donnie Darko. Before that, with his dad as the director, he appeared with his sister in A Dangerous Woman.

In 2007, he got two movies lined-up to be at theaters, Zodiac opposite Mark Ruffalo and Rendition Meanwhile, his war-drama flick Brothers is set to conquer the big screen in 2009.
